Its the waiting that sucks. Guess im just over anxious.

 

I still have a Dongle OVTune kit available for sale. Comes with original case, you'll just have to pay Matt $325 for a a new license. $250 shipped.

 

That's a great deal for anyone on the fence or looking to purchase.

I hear ya. I'm a pretty patient person, but still excited for my kit to arrive Friday

 

I think the new flash manager will make it so that you don't have to wait for Mat to send you the files, you just login and download the file. It will come out with 1.05 soon.

 

Do we know if the new Flash Manager work with the old dongle, as well?

I'm thinking about buying Zachman's old dongle kit for my new 2019 OR instead of waiting for the more expensive handheld. Using a laptop and bluetooth dongle to install the tune sounds easy enough...

 

it will. there are many of us that got in early with the dongle kit

 

Mat still working on 2019 ECU. The dongle is not Bluetooth, but rather USB hardware to authenticate your license. The plug from your ECU to laptop (tactrix cable) is wired connection from OBDII to USB.

With that said, I think dongle is better than dongle-less, I don't have to ask Mat for new license keys if I decide to upgrade my laptop. In fact, I did upgrade my laptop, installed software packages, insert dongle, put in registration key for dongle, I was ready to flash.

 

Pm me, if you get that dongle kit we will discount it, we need more 2019 files

that's a good buy, plus it sounds like you scooped a 19 discount. I'm surprised it took him so long to sell it.

 

Yeah, I'm pretty stoked about all of the above. I'm still a little confused about what's needed for 2019 tunes, specifically, but I'm sure Mat will help me figure it out once I've got my dongle in hand. (giggity)
