If I didn't want to buy a few other things for my truck I would put the gray matte Ray 10's in the 16" size on my truck. They are hub centric.

I would use an epoxy or JB Weld and don't be stingy with it either. That's a tough break man. No pun intended. Been there, I feel ya.

So I went ahead and removed the mud flaps for now till I decide what I want to do, and I removed the "8" on the wheel and replaced it with these, I'm kinda liking it.[IMG][IMG]

In regards to my Winjet Taillight issues.... Long story so let me try and make it short and sweet lol

Let me start by saying the best thing I could have done was buy these taillights from TacomaBeast.com. They have been absolutely outstanding in regards to customer service and resolving my issues. The issues I faced had absolutely nothing to do with Tacoma Beast. It was all QC problems from WinJet. In fact TB stopped carrying the WinJet lights because of all these issues.

So, I received my first set of lights from TB back in April this year (2018). The first issue was that the brake function and signal function were backwards. The brake light would flash when I hit the blinker and the blinker lights would illuminate when I hit the brakes. TB offered to send me a new set and when I received the new set I just needed to return the other defective set.

I declined because it wasn't that big of an issue as you can see from the video below. After about 3 months I noticed condensation build up inside the passenger side. I took it off and did my best to dry it out, only to continuously have the same thing happen. I literally could pour water out of them. After getting fed up with that issue, I contacted TacomaBeast and they offered to send a new set and when I received them just send by the defective ones and they would handle the RMA with Winjet. This was a huge help because WinJets RMA process can take months.

They sent me a new set pretty quickly and I installed them. At first, they seemed to be working fine. The blinker function was now normal and the water seals seem to be better around the edges. Then I went to check the brake lights and the driver side worked fine, but the passenger side had 8 LED's that were out and didn't light up.

    20181116_141846.jpg 20181116_141921.jpg

Pretty frustrated, I put the original WinJet back in and contacted TB. I explained the issue and sent photos and asked if it was possible, could they maybe just send me the new taillights they just released that week from Spyder Auto in the "smoked" configuration instead of another set of Winjet.

They apologized, they said they absolutely would send the other taillights if that's what I wanted or they would refund me in full for my original purchase of Winjets. They assured me that these type of QC problems would likely never be seen from these new ones from SpyderAuto.

    Yay for TacomaBeast! :woot:

Sounds like you got some super service from them.

I'll have to bookmark their site and check it next time I'm in the market for something. I like dealing with people that will take care of you after the sale, even if it costs a bit more.

Question: Does (did) @mesojdm make a switch panel that goes in the stock switch location (between the light module and the glasses holder) in the upper console (in the headliner)?

Tried searching the BST thread, didn't see one, but seems like this would be a natural. I'd like to move the one switch that's there to the middle somewhere, and use switches on either end to control the map lights (independently of whatever the dome light is doing). If I (or the passenger) need to fiddle with something (like a map... anyone still use those?*), I shouldn't have to light up the whole cab to do it. It surprised me that it didn't come from the factory this way.

    * - the hardcopy version, you know, the one that doubled as an IQ test when you tried to fold it back up again

You did a nice job. How long did it take to stitch that on there?
