    They are sold at Lowe’s as well, that’s where I picked mine up from.

    I wasn't thinking about often. Hell, I only wash once every couple months, if that. Maybe a couple times a year depending on visibility? I hear you though.

    If I had another couple feet of garage ceiling clearance, I might consider doing something really bad for my marriage.

    Nice tool! I bet a rubber band or small zip tie would do it? Just curious what you measured gap is?

    Not sure how often you plan to clean, but what about throwing a few pieces of PVC between the gfc and the bed rails to roll it back little?

    The clearance on my 2nd gen access cab is very tight - .5 to .25" just eyeballing it. Tough to envision getting any sort of rag on a stick between there and being able to do a very good job.

    For me, it is fingerprints! I am doing okay with water spots on both the hood and windows, except the side mirrors.

    That eBay stick looks neat. I was going to suggest a carbon fiber rod but guessed that it would flex too much also.

    It sounds like there is a workable amount of room if you have something stiff enough. Haha!

    Maybe enough room for window slide on the outside. Dreaming big. :D

    I don't think it's going anywhere too fast - the bulb seal is going to create a lot of friction.

    Other idea - if you are able to get the fixed sides of the cab window with your cleaning stick - you might be able to get the sliding center pane by stuffing the right sized rolled up rag in there with the window open, and then open and closing it a few times.

    couldn't you go from inside the cab to atleast clean the window, your extension mod looks like it could work well for everything else.

    @ace7196

    If you've posted about your bike rack set-up before, maybe you can link me to it; otherwise, I'm really interested in what you've got going there. Thanks in advance.

    It does. And everyone who's tested it so far says it's as comfortable as the 3" one in the campers. It's a dual density laminate.

    Fabric Town is making up a 2" camper set for testing in Baja at the end of the year. Our plan is to eventually switch the campers to a 2" mattress if it tests well. I can't say at all when that switch would occur but if it does, then a 2" cushion set would be available as a retrofit.

    On a side note, I actually have one of those Enlightened Equipment Itasca down quilts on the way. It's the perfect size and will compress down as much as anything can. I'll report back once I've used it.

    Prinsu does a half rack that costs more than the full rack did last year. There’s a very similar design made by another guy on the forums for much cheaper that can also make a half length rack.

    I have one also, got an ebay deal at $65. Havent had to use it but is good insurance. Especially since I run my fridge.
