Definitely not going with the forecasted 4 inches of rain on Friday. Should make for some interesting wheeling/recovering though. Just be sure to bring a tarp so you got something dry to sit on while you're watching guys fix your truck

Go to BB Ranch State Park. 57 campsites, 330K acres, over 100 miles of trails. I've spent a total of 10 days out there & have seen a total of 3 vehicles while on trails for 60+ hours of trail riding.

 

Does the trans still hunt like crazy between 5th and 6th with the 4.56's? What are your rpm's at 70ish?

Wanted to take this out of the classifieds but I only work 10 minutes from your place so stopping by and letting you get measurements and designs multiple times is no problem.

Yeah I have only gone in Nov and the past 2 years colds fronts have hit the same time I've gone.

Do they allow wood fires?

There is no 4.56 option for 3rd gens. 4.88 is the way to go with our trans for stock tires to 33's to get the shifting better. 4.88's will stop a lot of the gear hunting from what I've found in my research and I think rpm is 2.2k or less doing 70mph. It seems to be recommended to go 5.29's for 35-37's and the rpm is still good, <3k rpm, maybe under 2.5k rpm i cant remember or find the video I watched, at highway speed limits.
