Yep, $69 is a great deal but I wanted the GB70 so I picked it up on cyber Monday for $134 currently at $169.

Replacing everything worn, broken, and rusted.
I used my 400a Suaoki (Amazon) when my neighbors 2015 Camry wouldn't start. Offered him old school cables or the portable jumper. He chose the portable jumper. Honestly I didn't expect it to work. Started in 3 seconds, and he was on his way to get a new battery. I carry one in my truck every day. I'm a believer.

Thanks! Regretted not getting one on black Friday, so I just ordered one. My old school jumpstart device won't hold a charge anymore.

the 70 is probably overkill for us unless you have a failing battery and can't charge the noco frequently enough. can't remember exactly, but i can say for certain that after charging my 70 fully and not touching it for months, then using it to jump my truck when my stock battery failed, it had more than 75% charge remaining after the jump.

I suppose with 1000 amps being like 30% over what the factory battery cranks at, The GB40 would be plenty. I got a group 31 AGM in my truck now, and at 1150 amps, it starts with a conviction!

I've heard quite a few positive things about them first hand, not on Amazon reviews.

Keep in mind the reviewer rating process tends to only attract people that are overly pleased or severely pissed with products, while offering no context on whether there was user error, etc.

I charged up my GB40 when I got it last year. Just checked it and it still shows full charge, but I'm wondering how accurate that is. Maybe I should throw it on the charger for a bit just for peace of mind.

Also, just ordered another one, for my wife.
That case fits great in the under seat storage.

Bummer - missed the black friday deals!

Can anyone recommend a solid portable jumper to purchase from Autozone? I need one that will work for my truck as well as my wife's 2007 prius. We both had dead batteries in the last week (her car is old and fried, we need to sell it ASAP - while mine, I drained it accidentally sitting in it with music playing on accessory power). Not too sure about how these work with voltage etc. Need something that will be reliable for the both of us. I know how these shops always try to upsell. Would be nice to spend under 100 bucks. Thanks so much for your help!!
