    Yeah I miss my old truck but I sold it to my best bud so I see it all the time.

    I always got asked at gas stations if it was original paint, which it is, and people couldn't believe it was a 93. lol

    OP keep us updated what you do and check the mileage.

    The 1994 3.0 v6 had head gasket issue's, mine was replaced for free by Toyota with around 75,000 miles. It was a good truck except that issue. Good luck.

    By now I'm sure you can get a motor pretty cheap, I was working on them in 2004, new motors cost a pretty penny.

    You can also do vw diesel swaps on them.

    Keep in mind the front clip for the v6 was different than the 22re 4 cyl front clip. Mostly mounting holes, but the swap thread I posted the guy started with a 22re engine

    3.0 Blow. Head gaskets will always be an issue. As mentioned, frame rot, and rear axle seals can be an issue on these, atleast with mine that is. Solid trucks, but that one needs a lot of tlc.

    Yes, 22re is bullet proof 4 cyl, the 3vze was the 3.0 v6 that had issues but was a pretty powerful motor.

    Ok so I got the one with the dookie motor and head gasket issues. Bunch of people I see are saying worst toyota motor built.

    Not to derail the thread, but anyone who claims the 22re to be bulletproof hasnt had their headgasket pop yet. Mine went at 160k. They have their issues, just they dont happen as quickly as their bigger brother.

    Also, of you end up with it, it would be worth your time to set an account up on yotatech.com. That's the biggest forum for older toyota pickups. Its kinda buggy on phones as they have ads, but those guys know their stuff.
