    You guys got it good. Here in Canada..just to take one of my hand guns to the range I need a couple pieces of paper. Trigger locked and in a locked case. Mags limited to 10 rounds.
    Never mind concealed carry. Lol.

    That sucks... I live in Illinois and we were the last state in the country to allow concealed carry. I take nothing for granted because there are a lot of people who want to take that right away. I hope for your sake that your gun laws become more relaxed in the future.

    Thanks for sharing your story. That’s a really troubling story. I’ve also wondered about the emotional cost of pulling the trigger, even when you’re in the right. At the end of the day, for me, it comes down to protecting and providing for my family. I pray the day never comes, but I’d much rather be prepared than not.

    Sorry to hear about all of the Bullshit you had to go through and the other consequences you endured. I guess the only alternative was to let the guy stab you to death, not much of a choice but I think you did the right thing.

    You said it perfectly. I had someone years ago that tried to high jack me, he reached in and tried to grab anything he could. Until I pulled the khukri out of the side pocket. I didn't hurt him but I scared the crap out of him. I could have major league hurt him but I didn't. These days all the bad guys here in NM, they all carry guns so I may have to upgrade to carrying a gun.

    Okay guys, I have some issues with my CCW. It’s a Shield 9mm. Just installed the HYVE trigger (trigger only, not safety plunger and springs) Also has the frame and slide Cerakoted and installed some Trijicon sights finally. But this trigger is giving me fits
    The trigger bar is somehow being pushed to the side and not under the sear. But I can pull the trigger really hard and then I’ll be able to pull the stringer and “fire” the gun. I have some videos

    If you have worked on M&Ps or a gun smith let me know and I can send you videos Anden pictures.
    This trigger ONLY removes take up. So you have to file 30-60thou off the end of the trigger bar, for the thumb safety version (which mine is) other than that, it’s literally just pinning the new trigger to the factory bar

    Console Vaults and Lock'er Downs need to have reasonably robust locking mechanisms, and I think it goes without saying, it could be unwise to leave a firearm in one overnight. Sometimes you have to disarm (post office, other GFZ), and a lockbox of some kind can help you stay legal. But if you have an accident when your firearm is in your vehicle (but not on your person), it could be ejected from the vehicle.

    I prefer to carry on my person to the extent it is possible. For really long drives, especially in cooler weather, a shoulder holster can be a good solution, but good ones are spendy.
