I can't seem to find any that are oem for less than $350. Do you have a link possibly?

are you guys who bought the knockoff grille running the OEM garnish piece? I wasn't going to use the Pro style grille but after looking at the other options I just can't stand the plate at the bottom of the mesh type grilles.

Yeah I bought mine off of ebay. I think that the pro grille does look the best with that garnish cover, mesh grilles look a little weird with it.

Paid $180 for the grille itself. They did not have any on hand nor did any other dealerships around me have it. Took them 3 days to get it. Parts guy took a random pro vin and was able to order without any problems. Try calling around different dealerships to see if they can order it for you. Each dealer sells parts at a different price.

Just broke down and bought the $72 one on eBay. Going to go without the garnish first and see how things go. If no issues I’ll run it that way, if I run in to issues I’ll spend the additional $50 and get the garnish.

    Oh shit. That’s not good.
I think it says, letters may come in separate package.
It does indeed. Patience and you should be good.

Unfortunately, the listing I purchased from reads a little differently and doesn't appear to involve two separate packages:

I got my $73 eBay grill a few days ago and the logo was complete. BUT the oem garnish did not fit properly.... palm to face.

The 2016-2017 Pro grille ranges $300-$400.

The 2018 Pro grille is much cheaper $170-$180. Search part number PT228-35180 for the 2018-2019 version and you’ll find several dealer listings. Find the dealer nearest to you to minimize shipping costs. You’ll need to suppy an actual 2018-2019 Tacoma TRD Pro VIN to complete the purchase. See the link below:

    https://parts.toyotaofnashua.com/oem-parts/toyota-trd-pro-grill-tacoma-pt22835180

The radar/sensor garnish (part # 53141-35060) has to be purchased separately. It goes for $40-$50.

I initially ran with the 'knock-off' garnish and at first I got a couple of TSS error lights on the dash. They went away in a coupe of days and the system always functioned OK AFAIK.
But, when I installed my forward looking camera, I swapped out 'knock off' garnish for the matte OEM garnish. I do know what you mean by not liking the shiny finish in the middle of a matte grille.

eBay has some. I got mine on Amazon...the company was Spartan something for $110. The new fake grille I got has held up just fine. When installing on a TSS model, it took me a second but there's part of the honeycomb that pops out with some force. As stated aboce, you'll need to buy the garnish separately but it's real straight forward. I see no reason to go with OEM. Also, there's a member on here that makes some real nice looking custom grilles called Xtec. They're classic retro looking...if I hadn't already installed the Pro grille I would've gone in that direction.

Ok so I need some help tracking down the original honeycomb insert on the pro grill. Mine broke and I bought the tss garnish. I’m not liking the shiny insert and want to back. Does anyone know where I can buy that insert that originally came with the grill?
