New car, best steps for care of paint preventative etc?

    Hi all, been searching the forums and teh advice is a little overwhelming TBH. What is the general advice on how to care or handle a new taco?

    Clay, wax, polish? I am not a wash/wax person all the time but I figure while it is new I shoudl do what I can to do some preventive stuff to help her :)

    CO winters etc. Thanks in advance!

    You shouldn’t need to polish a new truck. And you polish before wax not wax before polish.

    I would wash (properly) and lay a sealer. Waxes are outdated products. Waxes last maybe 4 weeks. A good sealer lasts about 6-12 months.

    Depending on the amount of disposable income you have you can get your paint ceramic coated.

    Ceramic coating... worth it less washing less touch paint less scratches.

    I use a nanoskin (instead of clay, youll never touch clay again!)
