    stock?
    husky?
    nothing?

Pulled off my stock flaps about 50miles in, first curb rash. Rest is history.

So, what are you guys running? Lots of construction in my area so I’m getting tar on the paint just behind the tires. Thinking I need to trim my stock set or go for the husky set. Any alternatives? Pics appreciated of your setup.

I’m running 265/75r16 with a 2-3” lift, not sure what will rub and what won’t since the old fenders came off while stock.

Also timely because of all the rain season and being nice to the car behind me.

    Cheers.

I trimmed my stock flaps down several inches. I wanted to keep the protection there but felt they were way too long. Especially the backs.

If I removed them and added some aftermarket flaps, there's a scratch along the fender where the edge of the flap rubbed and I didn't care for that.

This is not specific to 2nd gen. Most options are generic. And many have had lackluster reviews.
Link to ones I chose, with cross-link to another members thread, but still have yet to install, because still yet to install my lift. :anonymous:

Actually, my truck is a 2018, but you can get the Rek Gen universal set with no hardware for only $45. Spend a few bucks on bolts and washers and maybe some spacers and you're set.

Mine broke off the front after 3 years. Pulled what was left off as well as the rears and never replaced them. I'm running 265/75/16 on stock suspension and wheels. No issues after 8 years without them.

Similar. Mine have been off for over 5yrs now. No major issues.

However, white truck + black tar stands out and is a pain to wash off.

Trimmed stockers on mine took about 4-5 inches off and rounded the corners with tin snips. Looks way better than the ground scraping long ass flaps

I took mine off 5,000 miles ago. Stock wheels/tires, no regrets.

Get rally armor basic mud flaps that you have to drill and mount it with screws washers and cut spacers. It’s flexible and stays on. I had rokblokz before but they busted right off during my first snow adventure
