I was walking into work yesterday and saw a couple working frantically from the side of their vehicle. Looked like junior had a butt related explosion on the leather seats. Have fun.

enjoy your youth while it lasts lol. I'm turning 34 in April, I definitely want kids but I've put it off for long enough...I don't want to be "really old" when my kids are teenagers. No time like the present I suppose.

My ex's parents had her when they were in their mid 40s, seems like it would be such a chore to raise a kid when you're getting to be that old

Shit I'm getting on to 29 and I don't think I can raise a kid. Girlfriend says i'll be a good father, but again I grew up surrounded by a drunk and always pissed off dad.

From what my friends have told me (that have had a kid by now), there's never a 'perfect time'...you can always think of a million reasons to put it off another year or more. You find ways to adapt to the obstacles and make it work. The one thing they all say is that it was 100% worth it so there must be something to that. I hope, lol

That sucks, I mean I don't know her at all so I won't judge. But I do get that parents are people too and want to still have fun, but as a parent your kids' needs and well being should always come first.

That's the one reason I'm really glad I waited until my 30s to start thinking about having kids, I was way too selfish in my 20s. Would've been a terrible father. Not that I know I'll be the world's best now, but I do know I'm capable of putting my needs 2nd or 3rd, unlike I was back then.

My sister had my nephew 7 years ago when she was 24 and fresh out of drug rehab. Of course, she got pregnant from a guy also in rehab who was nearly 40 years old. Needless to say, our family was less than pleased but she got her act together (didn't happen overnight) and he's a great little kid. Unfortunately, his dad is still a dead beat in and out of rehabs and living off welfare. Rarely sees my nephew. I try and help her out as much as I can because he needs some kind of stable male figure in his life. It's never easy no matter who you are, I think. But the kids have always got to come first.

    From Reddit:

A Professor, A CEO, and a Janitor are in a forest when they discover a magic fairy.
The fairy says "I will give you what you most desire if you do someone else's job for a day."

The professor says "I'll be an elementary school teacher. What can be so hard about teaching a bunch of 6-year-olds how to read?" so he is teleported into a classroom. After a few minutes, all the kids' screaming gets to his nerves, so he throws all his supplies and gives up.

The C.E.O says "I'll be a waiter. All you do is carry food back and forth. This'll be a breeze" so he is teleported to a restaurant. After about an hour, all the annoying customers drive him insane, so he smashes his plates on the ground and gives up.

The janitor says "I'll be an artist" so he is transported to an art facility. He glues all the classroom supplies and shattered plates to a canvas, then sells it for a billion dollars. The fairy asks the janitor how he was so clever.

The janitor says "I got a masters degree in art."
