Was it last year or the year before that an older couple rolled their sxs down the switchbacks? Thought I would try in the general first, but it’s not really any shorter than the Tacoma.

I would think it would be fairly easy with a general.

    Completely off topic but

Why did you go with the Polaris General over Canam Defender?

Full hardside doors, protects the kids from rocks getting kicked up a little more, also got slightly better reviews in general...haha. I think at this point both manufacturers make really good overpriced machines:spending:

That’s no joke, the general comes with the ac too doesn’t it?

My buddy has a Defender with the full cab, heater and sliders he hunts out of year round, i think he’s put more miles on it than his truck .

General comes stock with a full “half door” so to speak, full cab is $2700o_O. AC is still abundant:rofl:. Since they’re legal everywhere except the interstate where I’m at, it sees way more activity than my Tacoma or 4 runner as long as I’m not headed over togowotee.

Also you have to go can am commander vs. the Polaris general for a true comparison, they’re both companies take on a performance side by side with a utility bed you can still use.

Yeah I don't think that's a new idea. Supposed to absorb it or something.

No doubt. Why said if it's true.

Could be something that comes out of it. Interesting idea.

It's not an energy source. It basically turns electricity into gasoline. You still need to get the electricity from somewhere. Still could be very helpful.

Yeah of course. Their counter to that is using solar for that or other renewable sources I guess.

No way it'll take off in my opinion as big oil will smother it somehow anyways if it is in fact real.

Would be nice though. Keep vehicles the same more or less. Less emmisions overall.

    Here's hoping.

That's what I mean haha they buy up that stuff then just never use it.

Now days they are having to look towards the future more and are placing themselves to be successful no doubt. But not before oil is no longer profitable.

I can't complain about it too much. I'm the product of oil. I have nothing against oil and all that. It just is frustrating how they slow down technological advancements sometimes.

Get your money for nothing and your chicks for freeeeee.

Just protecting their investment. I don’t understand why the people who invented it sell to them in the first place. They have to know they aren’t going to develop it to compete with themselves.

That's a good point. Large sum of money will win almost anyone over haha

Plus while they did invent it probably don't have the capitol to really do anything with it.
