yeah I plan on giving it a try but only one of us has a winch (not me) and the other guy is on 35s but no diff lockers...lead of the group has dual lockers and 35s with a winch so he'll probably be the only one that can do it in the snow. I suspect we'll probably try it and then head to another trail lol.

If he sets up to the left of the gatekeeper there is a perfect tree for a snatch block to pull everyone through haha. its a steep climb though. Yeah the guy leading your group knows his shit, I bet you guys make it.

Who starts bidding with 5 days left?

Your someday gonna regret buying all this useless stuff and not saving your money in college.

Seems like they're trying to go back to the boxier pickup design of the 80s and 90s but modernized...full size trucks these days look so bloated. Bleh

Seriously, that just drives up the price. I never bid more than once & I place my bid when there's 5 seconds left.

Only in America! And way too much chrome but that has always been the case with American trucks.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
The tundra is one of the worst offenders too, just absolutely bloated, massive low hanging front end, hood too fucking high, bedsides that would look more at home on the US Mexico border. Wider than the flat brim bill on the hat of its owner.

Totally agree. When the Tundra got the big grill & hood is when I started hating Tundras! And when they came out with that Texas Edition, so disappointed. One of the reasons why I don't like turd gen Tacomas either, they got the huge grill too!

I'm afraid the big front ends are here to stay because manufacturers now have to leave a certain amount of space behind the grill and before the engine as a "pedestrian crumple zone"....to you know, protect us from ourselves

Well at least it gives us room for oil coolers & intercoolers! ;)

I quit shopping on eBay. But then again, I quit buying old stuff thats not truck parts. EBay is full of too much chinese garbage, its hard even to find the used stuff.

Yeah I hear yeah, ebay is flooded with crap now but you can still find good stuff, just have to know how to search & takes some good effort sometimes. I miss the old days on ebay where you could always find awesome deals. I don't buy auto parts much on ebay though, mainly tools & machining related consumables.

Last thing I bought off fleabay was my 4runner map light thing. But the amount of used auto parts on there has gone waaaaayyy down over the years. My dad bought a ton of stuff for his pickup off there 10 years ago, and it was all readily available with multiple sellers.

I'm just going to paint them myself lol. if he said 100 bucks for the pair, that would be reasonable. 100 for each side of the caliper x 4.

Well everything is more expensive in HI but that's outrageous! That's the price they give you when they don't want to do it. Lol

I used Duplicolor ceramic caliper paint on mine, got it from autozone. I just stuffed a grocery bag into the center part and sprayed it, brake line still connected to the truck. No real prep and its still looking good 2 months later. But I have ceramic pads that give off like no dust so I imagine that plays a big role in how they look.

3rd genners always crack me up. Thread going on about whether or not to paint the stock tow hook red. I get it, better visibility but not my cup of tea. Save that crap for the tuner cars.

Might as well just put on one of these. :D
