That's all that matters. I'm just curious to see how long this staying stock thing lasts. LOL You can always do mild like mine with 255's and not jeopardize anything. I would assume you will at least be looking at armor anyway to protect it. Small lift, armor, Little bigger tires, and a winch just to protect the truck and to get unstuck not for any wild off roading.

honestly the only thing ive look into is a low pro winch. honestly I like to travel to different states and camp. not much into the off roading thing anymore.

That's why mine is built like it is. By the time you add the rack and tent and gear you may have to beef up the rear anyway. You don't see me doing any wild off roading. It is built, being built, to get the camper where we want to go. I am going to have to beef up the rear now with all the weight I added to the tongue of the camper. Not for crazy rock crawling or anything but just to competently handle the demands of places we want to go while keeping really good cv angles helping decrease any premature wear and keeping the truck with really comfortable road manners. If our trucks weren't built the way they are and James hadn't been running lead with a winch we would have had a really hard time getting the campers to the top of Flag Pole and you know that's not bad.

ill probable get a set of air bags for the rear as a temp solution. but for at least the next few years while im traveling for school its gotta stay stock. but ive thought about the kings all around for the nice ride with bags in the rear

That's smart. After I got thrugh the initial modding of the truck we have just been looking at needs. What do I need to do to make something work better or make something more practical or easier. It looks like you are already headed in that direction. I am looking at a rear bumper now. standard rear, I have no need for HC no matter hw cool it looks, Dual swingouts, they will get the spare out of the bed and free up space and hold my water jerry cans again freeing up bed space. The duals will also open and allow me to drop the tailgate while the camper is hooked up= see my reasoning there something that will make things easier and free up space

You know you want sliders too.

Honestly I’d get the sdhq hidden winch mount but it’s almost the same price as a lo pro bumper thing

Maine is so nice. I want to make a trip up. My grandparents live off the kennebec river and I hear there is some really good fly fishing near them.
