I’m looking into leveling kits for my 2018 SR5. What do you guys think of these by Rough Country.

The other day, out of curiosity, I checked the height of my Taco center of wheels to the fender lip and came up with a reading of 36" front and back, the height was checked on flat level concrete. It's a 2018 TRD sport without any mods to the suspension, bought brand new with 1 mile on the odo, so my question is why the lift kit when it might be perfectly level?

Will someone please explain this to me, TIA.

No way your truck came completely level in stock form. They all have at least 1” of rake. Even my TRD Pro has 1” of rake. I did 2” spacer j. The front and 1.5 in the rear.

I just checked it again this time using a yard stick to eliminate any flexing of a tape measure, well I got the exact same reading of 36" front and rear.

Ok. If you say so. And I’m not trying to sound like an ass. You have the first level Tacoma in stock form in history. You should get some sort of prize from Toyota. :p;)

I purchased my Taco brand new as well with 3 miles on her. IMO, at least with my SR5, the nose seems to be lower than the back. I guess I should actually measure it before spending money lol.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Now if you can come up with an aluminum slim line bumper like the pic with no cutting of body panels I'd be in. I know it can be done as Warn has one in metal.

Oh yeah. Also installed the organizer and tray in the console and the glove box organizer but I can’t find the pics I took. Also got the windows tinted last weekend

I did play around with the idea before cutting on this one however I am not a fan of how it would have to fit in order to be a no cut. One you see the warn next to the other lo pro option you will see why most require cutting. The cut ones have a much cleaner look!
