If you're sure you put everything back right I'm just curious if the cb was your problem to begin with. That's why I asked.

It was. Squeaking in reverse and the bearing was anything but round not to mention the amount of play it had. I should mention my mechanic is the one doing all this but I watched lol

Do you have a lift? Maybe the play in your cb was making it so you didn't need a cb drop kit or rear axle shims Just throwing out ideas .

I know there is a TSB on the driveshaft they extended to 2013 models. But being I have 113k and a lift they won’t touch it.

Does he have the driveshaft sync. properly. What I mean by this is are all the U-joints lined up on the same plane yes even the one at the t-case. if on is off plane or 180* from the others can cause a vibration.

You mean from the front all the way back. Including front driveshaft?

Was gonna say the same. Basically the middle u joint has to go back on the same exact spline it came off of so the u joints are lined up.

Yes. every U-joint the caps should be in line with eachother. If one is off it can cause a vibration. Also they can be 180 out so if they are all inline then try taking the back one off and rotating it 180 to the front one.

If you want to mess with someone take the shaft off the diff pull apart the slip yoke and turn it 180 it'll have them chasing a vibration until they go to the looney bin.

I know he marked everything and it lined up. But I called him(good friend who just happens to own his own shop) and he said he’s going to check that the CB is centered.

o_O As soon as you put the DS through it and it has it's weight hanging down from it the bearing won't be exactly centered. What does he mean by that?

As a tech we all make mistakes I've done this one before. The DS came apart at the slip yoke and I hastily put it back together not paying any attention. The customer returned not 5 min after leaving for vibes because the DS was out of sync. Doesn't hurt to double or triple check things to make sure.

Lmao. Brother I’m just the guy who has a guy to do the work. But in all seriousness. I did return probably 3 minutes later and he crawled under the truck. Looked and said he’s going to order a new bearing just in case but to come by tomorrow. He just closed the gates so I wasn’t going to complain. Since I do t pay for any work but the parts. Sooooooo
