I got an email from Toyota of Killeen today that said they were looking for vehicles like mine and they would give me above market value for my trade. I investigated further and they were willing to give 10500 and the kbb was 10100. I emailed the lady back and said 12500 or no deal still no reply yet...

I've had several offers on mine as well recently. I finally called them back and said "Look man this thing is a fully built trail rig that is VERY well used. So...unless you've got a blazing hot market for soccer moms that need to get their kids on 4 diamond trails then this isn't what you want".

 

well, you have not liked the rest, you won't like this either. Ain't nobody parting with a 1st gen 4X4 in any running condition for less than $10K. I did find a farm truck long bed at $6.5K, but was the previous gen.

Yes, that's the recent change; you used to have to be active duty or retired to use it, now it's open to all vets, whether or not if you retired from the military. Their prices beat Amazon, on the things I've checked, and the no sales tax/free shipping makes it a good place to check when buying.

Also, (and if you don't like Apple, save it, everyone has choices...), Apple just announced a discount to all military, including vets. I sure wish they had announced this before I bought a new phone, and the wife bought me a watch in the last month or so...

My wife is looking to replace her Macbook Air, and interestingly, the MyExchange sale price on the lowest priced Air beats the Apple price, $789 < $899. And of course, you'll save $65 by buying that from MyExchange, by not having to pay sales tax. Always good to have alternative shopping options...
