Could u do me a huge favor? I just picked up a Snugtop rebel with reinforced roof and just ordered a set of Yakima rails. Can u tell me how far apart your rails are? I’m not sure what the spacing should be between the two. Some pictures in relation to the cab gutter trim would also be Awsome.

 

The bolts for the rails need to go through the reinforced part of the roof so they're not as far apart as the ditch channels and those spread towards the windshield. The cap rails are 37 1/2" OC.

I just walked out and measured it, looks like the reinforced area is 42”. I guess I’ll go as far out as possible so maybe 40-41” appart.

 

The farther apart they are the more they tilt to the sides. There's some adjustment to the feet but it's not unlimited. You might want to loosely attach the rails to the feet and bars and gently lay them on the roof and see how far out they'll go while still allowing the rails to follow the roof contour.

Thanks, yup the 3101 is what I was trying to find, after two phone calls yesterday I finally found my answer!

Now I can't decide between the aero and square bars, the load rating on the aero is a lot higher that I thought it would be, maybe the days of the Thule square bars are coming to an end!

 

The aero bars also have t-slots if you're into that gear.

 

I want this but for a short bed with a tool box on the driver side. Was quoted around what you paid. Looks like I’m holding off a bit. Will be awesome though

 

Nice, it's pricey but worth it imo!

 

Does anyone have these to hold their shells. I have one and then the other 3 are clamps. I don’t the correct name for this style and just where to get it. I asked before and someone gave me a link. That’s where I got this pic but it would not let me order it. Thanks for the help

Mine had clamps in the beginning. Then I realized that the PO had screwed one down originally and covered it up with a plastic bedliner. So I ditched the bedliner and drilled 1/2” holes in the camper and bedrails then bolted it down. It’s solid as the bed now.


On a side note. I ordered a new rear hatch seal and it fit like whodathunkit. Impressed with that purchase. Now to raise it up and seal the sides better and it’ll be airtight aside from the tailgate.

 

How has everoeve attached LED lights to the roof of their shells? I was thinking of using Velcro strips to just stick them up there....please post any pics of how you hung your lights!

 

I epoxied LED light strips to a piece of velcro (the hard side obviously) and put them up. Worked perfect. I epoxied the switch to Another piece. Wired to my deep cycle I keep in the back

 

I used silicone and have 1 sostrip do the middle of the topper, then three on the rails, and one on the hatch

what are you running them off of?
