Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
I'm think he will build the internals for more and go from there since its the test engine.

Possibly.. plus a numbers-matching block is better without holes in it :D

Maybe an absentminded attendant keying in the price when the prices where scheduled to be updated.
I say go fill up and take as many spare gas cans as you have before the station owner realizes it.

Hey everyone just wanted to post as we prepare for next year, which is going to be exclusively for Toyota, we may be a little bit slow this month. We are wrapping up everything, clearing out other stuff so that 2019 is purely Toyota.
So there may be a little bit of delay with receiving registry keys, files, etc.

    New guy here!

I've read through most of this thread but was curious if I need to get the latest TSB, or can I just wait for the 1.05 release?

Also, I've been running 92 octane since I bought the truck and I'm guessing I'll want to run the 91 tune?

    Thanks!

You do not have to get the TSB, it is supposed to be incorporated into 1.05. But most have reported improvement with the latest TSB so it might be worth getting to tide you over until 1.05 is rolled out.

Good to know, I might stop by my dealer this weekend. They gave me a lot of grief over the last TSB though.

You should run octane equal to or greater than the tune.

Your choice. If you havent been enjoying the way your truck drives i would get TSB done for now and when 1.05 gets released you can tune 1.05 goodness.Mat (OVtune) Will be busy wrapping up some other projects to work solely on Toyota Tacoma's and Tundra's. Or place your order and do both so you have the ball rolling for 1.05.

We are blessed with 85 octane here in Colorado at around $2.60/gal. 91 is our premium and is right at $3.00 which is probably what I'll run when I get tuned. Just need to make sure the wife knows not to put anything less in.

I live along the Front Range ~6000'. I'm running 1.04 91 octane tune, and mostly run 85 octane gas. I can't tell one bit of difference at this altitude between running the 91 tune on 85 octane gas, or 91 octane gas. I did notice a huge difference between the low octane tune and the 91 octane tune.

I also ran 85 octane in my 2003 Audi A4 3.0 V6 and didn't notice any difference. However, my son swears he can tell the difference in his 370Z, and so runs 91.

Depending on who you read and trust on the interwebz, lots of folks look at the 85 octane fuel we have here, and that the lower elevations get 87 octane as the lowest, and conclude that you can only run fuel 2 points lower at our altitude. I don't pretend to be any kind of expert, but I've never had any noticeable knock, and my truck runs like a scalded cat even on 85 octane fuel.

I haven't noticed any knock or performance issues on 85 gas, just know my mpg is usually lower than most that have posted here and other places.

You should try running water instead of oil in your engine.
