Is there any interest in a needle bearing fix day? I’m sure it’s something that plagues many of us, or soon will. In addition to the cost of the new bushing, there’s the cost of some tools we might only use once. I’ve seen were folks are selling and reselling the removal tool, which is a cheap way to do it. But if a bunch of folks in need of the fix got together some Saturday or Sunday, we could all help each other, and pass the tools around, making a bit of a chore that much more enjoyable. I recently purchased the removal and install tools when I got the bushing, and would be more than happy to contribute the sharing of them, and perhaps some beers too if there’s any interest. My garage space is limited, so I can’t offer that (I could only fit one pickup at a time). Any way, just a thought. I know Christmas is going to hit soon, so time might be limited until January.

The bearing removal tool I have works for 2nd and 3rd gens. I'm not sure if it also works for 1st gens.

If you guys need extra jacks/jack stands I’ve got some you can barrow. I work in Victorville/Adelanto if someone wants to pick them up from me.

Sounds like a good friend/coworker to have. Not supposed to rain this weekend, next weekend isn't looking good, but we're a ways out of that.
