Airbag Warning Light - Cold Weather

Wondering if anyone else has seen their airbag warning light come on when the temp is below 20F? Mine has been doing that lately. I can get it to turn off by shutting down and restarting.

I've never had an issue on my 2018 in 12k miles.

 

Yup, my 2017 just started this week. Took it to the dealer. They couldn’t figure it out. They will be taking the truck back to look at it again.

 

Interesting...so maybe it is a thing for us cold dwellers.

 

May have a bad crash sensor

 

Any luck with this? My truck is at the dealer now figuring out the issue. They've replaced the crash sensor with no luck.

 

I have not had an opportunity to take it in yet. Please keep us posted if you get any updates. Thank you!

 

Looks like they replaced the air bag sensor. The light hasn’t gone on since. But it’s been warmer here. I’ll keep you posted
