I just purchased my 2019 OffRoad, it didn’t come with an oem bed cover, are the bed specs on a 2018 the same or different? I originally wanted an oem bed cover but when I asked the dealer about getting one they said the trucks come with them from the factory and are not an option. Very interesting...

Same bed specs, it's just the Toyota OEM bed cover - if you don't order it with the truck, you can't get it. It's either factory installed or nothing.

Lots of options for aftermarket covers, most better than the factory cover. The bed did not change for 2019, just a lot of vendors have not changed the fitment on their sites. 2016 to 2018 will work for you.
There is a great thread all about bed covers here.

I chose a soft roll up cover to make for easy access for full bed use when needed.

I have an oem one available for the shortbed. I don’t have enough post to put it in the buy sell yet.

If you don't need constant access to your bed from above you can very easily make a solid aluminum bed cover. My bed is a big trunk most of the time and if I need to really use it. 4 bolts and 30 lbs of lifting and I have full access.
