I've never taken something to the scrap yard before and it was so easy. Literally this dude had a scale and a huge wad of cash. Weighed the wheels, scanned my ID, and gave me cash all in 10 minutes. Now I see why criminals love that shit

Also; Alabama crew and myself (hopefully) are riding Windrock this weekend if anyone wants to go

Right awn guys, and thanks for the suggestions! I've gone wheeling in the Pacific North West which was nothing but mud, tree stumps, and skinny pedal and it was a mess. Definitely not my style. Beings I'm from central California where it is quite dry, I am no fan of mud, absolutely dislike mud. Its a mess and hard to clean. But I am up to the challenge, really like @Robertocritser's photo, looks like a lot of fun and I'd probably get most of the mud to fall out on the 2,500 mile trip back home

So, then... I'll have to make new skids better than what's on the market, and then test them out on a trip to TN. I have a long time friend who lives in Apison who would absolutely love to see me and the chance to go wheel'n together again-

Question: If GSMTR is more focused around TLCA, and unfortunately as such, older Land Cruiser models, what would be the largest TN annual wheeling event more geared towards late model 4Runner's, Tacoma's, and FJ C? Or does GSMTR draw a decent crowd of 1995 and newer trucks? Thanks!

I'd wager to say anything east of the big creek (Mississippi River) is gonna have mud, somewhere, everywhere. And rocks. And trees.

Mud does suck for sure! In all honesty I've been pretty good at avoiding mud in the southeast up until recently wheeling with the TN/KY Tacomaworld crew. It's a crap shoot for sure if you will encounter it or not.
