when I was a kid (your age....ugh) my buddy had a retired police detective crown vic that still had the red and blue lights in the interior and the hand light on the drivers side mirror. He used to get waved through traffic stops and such all the time. We would go drinking up in the hills in that thing and roll up on other groups of kids drinking with his red/blue interior lights on and watch everyone freak out, haha. Until one day an actual cop pulled him over and he got hit with a big ass ticket for impersonating an officer or something like that, had to remove all the police stuff.
