    I've actually never tried or test the XD HID kit. I've tested the deAutoLED HID kit and its a very good kit as well. It was just a 35w kit and I wanted a 55w otherwise I'd probably still be using the deAutoLED.

    Doesn’t show what the”bulb” looks like- is it just a block full of leds.

    I like the design of the 2 mentioned above. I know the main concern is light output but why not both

    @kjhadfield

    Yes sir! 7440 is a single function bulb. 7443 is a dual function bulb. You need the 7443 if your turn signal is also your DRL's

    Here is the video your reffering too. I hope it helps.

    Sorry, I did not take any photos of the actual LED, but yea, sorta OEM shaped covered with diodes. Brett might have a pic of one. I had to remove my Low Beams to install them and mine have metal heat sinks that I have to reset so please don't ask. :D

    So what's different about the OEM LED lights that make them cut through fog and mist, or do they now? Thanx

    OEM LEDs have the same refraction issues. This is from the cool color temperature from shortwave blue light in the output that causes the refraction. If you want to minimize refraction for better poor weather performance, you should minimize short wavelengtg light, especially below 500nm.

    Compare OEM Lexus LED fogs against KC amber LED fogs. KC has eliminated the short wavelength blue light using an amber LED light source whereas the Lexus LEDs have the typical significant high amplitude spike in the short wavelength spectrum which makes the lights whiter but also causes refraction and scattering of the beam off of parcipitation in the air. Meaning you see the rain/snow/fog rather than beyond it. The KC amber lights won’t significantly refract as they have cut that spectrum out of the output, shifting the color to amber. Since the long wavelength amber light does not bounce off the precipitation back at the driver, you can see the roadway beyond the rain/snow/fog.

    Very Nice! I just ordered a set of the LED side markers last night. I also have their reverse LED bulbs on the way as well as GE Megalight Ultra +130 H11 low beams. I plan on getting LED front turn signals, license plate lights and brake/tail lights in the future.

    Thanks! Just finished installing my deAutoLED amber side markers. They are significantly brighter. I didn't get a chance to take before/after pictures since it's daytime. deAutoLED threw in some free Sour Patch Kids with my bulb order, lol.

    Awesome!! Man, i have been really impressed with the quality of deAutoLED. I was skeptical, but i was wrong to be. If you ever have any questions please feel free to ask either here or PM.

    I finally replaced my three year old OPT7 LED headlight bulbs (low beams) with XenonDepot’s Xtreme HID kit w/ the 4300K Philips bulbs. I am absolutely blown away by the difference between the two! I can’t believe I was basically driving in the dark with the LEDs. Super impressed!

    Yup! Now add Xenon Depot Xtreme Led's to you're high beams and you have day light!

    Are automatic high beams on the tacoma affected by installing any HID/LED headlights?
