Just got a new 2019. Does anyone know if nerf bars/running boards that are made to fit other 3rd Gen model years are the same for 2019? Same question for tonneau covers. Thanks in advance gents,

 

Yes, nothing changed for the body. In fact Im not sure anything changed at all besides colors.

Hell yes! 2016+/3rd gen specific will fit any version regardless of year made. Just has to be the same generation and fit your bed/cab requirements. Welcome

 

But to answer OP's question, yes - no body mods have been done to the 3rd gen to stop this from happening

Hey @Pemerson, not only will 2016+ body mounted steps (running boards) fit your truck, but second gen steps (2005+) will also fit. There were very few body changes, if any made between these generations. Most, if not all of the changes were superficial, fender and door skin changes. Good luck with finding what you need.
