We can go all the way to Denver in 6.5 hours. You should be about an hour less. Since those guys are coming from the southeast, I recommended campgrounds within an hour or so in the same direction. You would need to over shoot Farmington to camp with them, with the exception of Navajo Reservoir. It's about 30 min east of here.

I assume you're cutting over to the 285, heading south to the 160, then heading towards Durango? If so, there is a lot of camping between Pagosa Springs and Durango (I can give you some specific spots if you wish). That area will put you about 1.5 hours from here. There really isn't much camping between Durango and here. Navajo Reservoir that I mentioned earlier isn't a bad option for you. Drop south in Bayfield, through Ignacio, and you'll run into it. Again, that puts you about 30 minutes from here.

I have 2 extra if you want 1. They are unmounted right now. And does anyone know where I can get an extra BFG KM2 on the cheap for a spare?

Yeah, it's coming up here in a hurry. I've got a few more things to take care of before I leave

    -Weld on Sliders
-Rig up factory skid plate to help with wind resistance on my drop bracket.
    -Change the motor oil

Thanks for all the good wishes, gentlemen.

    Andrew and Troy,
Get those sliders on. You'll land on them. You can go without them but you have to be careful.

So I'm having trouble locating this store on Google Earth. I think they have the location balloon in the wrong place. There is one off Alameda near Cottonwood Mall and then they show one on US550 in Rio Rancho, but they show it in the middle of a neighborhood. So which one?

I am excited to try out my sliders. I may have to hit some of the harder trails to really push my skills.
I got my oil changed today; and the guy replaced 2 bolts that were missing from one of my skid plates. I should probably check the rest of them, and make sure all of my new front end parts are tight, before hitting the road.
I got my new bilstein 5125's in today! They will be going on tomorrow afternoon.

Don't worry, Brian, your skills will be pushed if you want them to be.

As we drive along through the Glade, whether on a designated trail or not, you'll constantly be spotting obstacles that range from "Oh, that looks fun and easy." to "You're a f-ing idiot if you take your truck on that!" Feel free to approach whichever ones you wish.:)

Good to hear. I'm sure I'll hit plenty of both. Then some of them that make me say; wait, I have to drive this thing 800 miles back home!

Yeah, I got to thinking after I typed that. It's about 800 to Farmington, and over 900 home.

The bulk of the Glade, especially most of the marked trails, is just plain too much for our trucks. The challenge is to find stuff we can do while still being challenged. Finding stuff we can't do will be amazingly simple. This is rock crawling buggy country.

It's the Home Depot way up in northeast Bernalillo. It's like one of the last things you pass before you hit the boring open highway to Cuba. Kinda over by the Jackalope and stuff, right?
