    I went to oriellys and Napa and they only had Lexus studs that were the same size as the ones that came with our trucks. You got a part number or anything?

    That’s not bad. My fronts were fine, I just rebuilt them because of the age and the PO sent me the seal kits. I got basically brand new rear shocks so it wasn’t a terrible deal.

    I’m happy with them.

    Why you getting rid of yours?

    These ARP ones are the ones guys run on various Toyotas, just not sure about 1st gen Tacomas. Looks like they fit 2nd gen Tacomas & Tundras so they may work for 1st gens too but I have no experience with them. Pretty pricey though.

    I currently have autozone struts with stock coils and a spacer haha - 99

    On the 02 it’s just stock.

    Hell yeah they are. I'm sure Summit or Jegs will have them but you'd have to measure the knurling etc to match some up. Lots of guys run extended studs for drag racing on Toyotas so there has to be a cheaper alternative to those ARPs.

    You can also just buy some is300 studs from Napa or AutoZone, they're still a good bit longer and much cheaper

    If you want a comparison, I used Rock-n-Road in Loomis, California outside Sacramento to rebuild my 2.5 Stage 1 Icons. I provided the seal kits, so the cost is for labor and oil.

    I paid $166 total, which comes out to roughly $80 per Coilover.

    Gregory has a pretty cool shop with some cool projects. This was a desert runner they built from scratch, and in the other corner was a PT Cruiser cut in half lengthwise.

    That’s what’s weird I went to both and they handed me studs that were the same length as what I already had.

    That is strange, the is300 should have a much longer stud to account for the thicker disc rotor center piece
