CB was off just a little bit. Never thought something that was off by a millimeter or 2 would cause so much headache.

It will happen for sure, we had someone die at my last unit from doing 3-12 hour watches in a row, and on the 3rd day home just passed out. they didnt change anything after that.

I’m pretty sure iron pig won’t do them. I almost bought a used set of icon coil overs last year and I think I called them to ask if they could do it and they said no.

Thanks but the motor basically threw a rod or something. Crazy thing is, I had just changed the oil not that long ago and I check the level quite frequently so I know it had enough oil. I actually cleaned the carb on it 2 summers ago. I appreciate it though! Ended up finding basically the same mower with a honda engine...

when i told them they were no longer under warranty and i was trying to save on the cost/time in shipping them to az or ca he seemed to be okay with it, he told me no at first. But after reading some of their more recent review im kinda skeptical. He said replacing the seals is something he is familiar with from his buggys. But also refused to do the work if the arm going into the piston was damaged and if i didnt provide the proper amount of fluid to be used.

Yeah seems like he doesn’t want to do it anyways haha. As much as it would suck to send them out the result will probably be better. Idk if downsouth motorsports does Icon but they’ve been posting king rebuilds and they make old nasty shocks look brand new.

I'd be interested in know if he actually gets back with you. I contacted them when I was talking with shops to see who could fix all the stuff that IPOR did wrong. He told me multiple times that he'd get back to me on Monday or in a few days, and it never happened.

You might try 4 Wheel Drive Specialty Co. down in Henrico. They seemed like stand up guys when I talked to them. They were straight forward about what I needed done being outside of their expertise and even recommended some other shops to try contacting.

Looks good, and a manual too with what appears to be the trd short throw. Or at least the knob for the short throw. Is it just me or does the rear bumper look pushed down though? And two owners coming from PA, look underneath for signs of heavy rust. Oh and it lists sport and off road package. Looks like the OR model.
Bummer on the icon issue. I had a 5100 do that to me. When i tried to take the shock off the lower bolt had seized into the sleeve. I had to cut the shock off.

Mine were on for several years. I learned the hard way that anti seize is your friend. Funny thing was i had not done anything but commute to work with them. They went off road twice to easy places, and i hadnt been offroad with them for a couple years when my passenger billy puked all over my driveway

They seem okay so far they are tight on the road but are a bit hard on the surface ride. Overall seems to be a Great tire over the stock GY Kevlar POS......

Yes and if you have trouble getting rid of the stock tires, i took mine to one of those tire shops in manassas and the guy gave me $20 a tire, mine had like 17-18k on them but was glad to get rid of them.
