How does your cap fit? Mines super tight. I may need to sand it a wee bit

Could you do a write up or some pics of this? I’ve been thinking about trying this. And if it would be too hard to add some type of front hinge and lift shocks. I can get aluminum sheets pretty cheap so I thought about giving it a shot.

I'm not doing anything for aftermarket stuff. This truck is staying all stock.

I will be putting the mud flaps on in the morning. I will likely buy the sill protectors and the TRD accessory skid plate later. I guess when the tires wear out I'll put BFG all terrains.

My desire to mod stuff is dead. I have nothing against it, but i'm over it.

Good looking truck you got there! I love how awesome long beds look lifted! Every time I see one it makes me question going with a short bed.

It was pretty simple. I just built a frame out of angle aluminum. Riveted it to the sheet and then bolted that to the bed rails. I will try to do a write up this weekend.

I’ve seen this tweeter upgrade all over this site but can’t see how it makes that much of a difference. Does someone have a before and after audio of the truck? I just can’t justify $100 for tweeters is all.

Rough country 1” spacer for the front and 1” block on the back.... running just the spacer is going to put you 1/2 inch higher on the nose..

With the spacer and the block mine sits at 37.5”front and 38”back A488EFAC-35A8-45BA-9A1C-765C608D936E.jpg

Installed Alpine designs Cabmount relocation kit and mounted up my new wheels and tires.

Hard install, cutting out the stock cab mount is not easy and on the driver side a wire loom is exactly in the way...so have to be super careful and go slow.

Once the cab was unbolted from the frame we lifted the body away from the frame about 3/4 inch. This gained us much needed room to move the wire loom out of the way. We used a floor jack and a pinch weld puck to do that.

The kit is for 2005-2015 so it needed some extra washers because the threads in the cab mount bolt did not go high enough. I am going to talk to AD about that.

But we got it done. The kit does work on a 3rd gen. Just needs a little mod.
