Certainly a nice scope, but not quite what I'm looking for.

Just to share... this hangs from my mirror in my tacoma...shot with that .22 I posted above at 75 yards. My trophy.

The dog tag itself is solid copper, it was a gift, says bushido... the wooden beads I made by hand out of bocote wood. Then carved MOLON LABE into them...

To be fair... I did practice on several blank dog tags before attempting on this one...

    Sooooo....slight/spontaneous change in direction.

I had a Leupold VX-Freedom 3-9x40 in my gun cabinet. Don't ask why I even had that. I had to run up to LL Bean for some things and I was browsing the used gun section and stumbled upon a used mint Ruger American Compact (18") 22LR. I have a Ruger American 22" in 17HMR and it's a tack driver. Price was only $199 (including mounting and bore sighting my scope) so I pulled the proverbial trigger. Going to keep the factory open sights on the 10/22 carbine. I like the compactness of it for walking around in thick cover.

Nothing taciCOOL about mine. It's and older model...metal trigger guard with a Hogue stock, a 16" YHM barrel, and a Nikon scope. Used mostly for late night armadillo control.

    It's pretty damn quite thou!

Yes sir, I'm moving a vortex 3-9 and a liberty regulator over from an older savage fsvr. If I'm as pleased with the xring as most others, the savage will be for sale shortly!

I may or may not have just ordered another 10/22 receiver. Strangely enough, this build will utilize 100% Ruger parts. I scored a nice mid 70's walnut carbine stock with aluminum barrel band and butt plate. This one will not even have any glass installed, just a beer can plinker. This will be my 10th 10/22 build, I may have a problem....

    Apologies...not a 10/22. Just updating a previous post.

Got it dialed in pretty good today. Used the corner of my tailgate as a table while kneeling. Final group at 75yds. That one errant shot - I knew it once I pulled the trigger. Should be good enough for small game.

Well, I got my receiver I’d ordered from my FFL (cousins pawn shop, no fees for me) yesterday. Put everything together last night. Hopefully I’ll go shoot it this afternoon. Again, she’s just a plain jane 10-22, exactly what I was going for.

This is one of the easiest chassis to assemble and disassemble for cleaning it’s beem my favor, the down side is they should have made the chassis at least 3” longer to enough room for a forearm grip and a bipod
