    x2. Here are my suggestions:

-No matter what we do we're gonna have to pay for parking, there's really no way around it; so those who are trying to get around it, accept that youll have to pay the $10 for the day.

-The prime spot, IMO, is right near the pier. If our group needs anything, everything is within walking distance and no one will lose a parking spot for the day. Additionally, we can walk to Main St and hit the bars or whatever you guys plan to do, and its all real close.

-I suggest we meet somewhere in HB but not at the beach and then caravan to a parking spot where we can all park and meet at the beach. There is a starbucks on Brookhurst and Adams, only a few minutes away from PCH, and IIRC it has a good size parking lot. Or we could meet at "Edison COmmunity Park" on Hamilton & Magnolia and then go from there.

-As far as where exactly were going to park, I would think the parking lot right next to the pier should be pretty available if we get there early enough. Ive never been to the beach that early so Im not certain, but I would imagine it so. If thats too packed we could always go into the adjacent ones and pay $10 at the parking booths before entering.

    Someone chime in...

That's not a bad idea - The remote parking thing.

If you gonna go to the pier then i would suggest parking off of main street by Lake Park. It's about a haf mile from the pier. That way even if people want to walk back to the car it's not all that hard. I do all the time.

What lake meet? Santee? what don't you like about the idea? Were
Gonna park in the same lot with one another, they just won't be next to eachother. This is Huntington Beach, not the lake, parking is such a PITA.
