I need to carve some time to head up there and get their seasonal Winter Tide, if they’re brewing it this year :fingerscrossed:

They had the Celebration at my local Publix. There was an internal debate between it and the Tropical Torpedo.

    Yes, please!

    Those look great !

The ham was a hit with the fam. The crust was like bacon. Made my own glaze, combined a few recipes i found. Honey, light brown sugar, dark brown sugar, honey dijon mustard, apricot preserves, apple cider, and a good pull of bourbon. Glazed at 5 degree steps from 100 to 130. Took about 4.5 hours for the 10 lb ham. Kept the smoker around 225-250

Put a couple chunks of mesquite on the coals and let them sit in the smoke for a bit...so good. Wish it wasn’t raining so I could’ve tried them on the new pellet pooper.

If my ez up was easier to get to I would’ve put it up to roll the pooper under. Figured it was just easier to go with the trusty kettle.

Spent the afternoon enjoying beverages at Benford Brewing, any of y'all that spent any time with Bryan, show him some love on IG or FB, his bday is on Monday. We celebrated Charleston style with loads and loads of oysters. (He's from Charleston)

Cheers to the next Benford meet.

The last couple of butts I've smoked I've finished in the oven, start around 4pm, pull and foil around 8 or 9, then finish all night. Now anytime we turn the oven on the whole house smells like absolutely delicious smoked pork butt.

Same, man. I wanna build a shingled covering type thing over the outdoor fireplace and put the smoker under it, too. Something like you used to see over wells (can't think of the proper name).

I think I can run the pooper in my enclosed patio if I open the windows and run the ceiling fan. Only thing I think about is the ceiling is peaked and I’d probably smoke myself out of the patio.

I think the ez up is where it’s at for me.
