Oh yeah. What a coincidence.

 

The looks have grown on me with time. Only gripe I have with the front is it seems to long from certain angles, otherwise they look sharp.

 

The angle that it's the most annoying, is from the driver's seat. When I sit in one, I can't see the ground right in front of the truck because of that huge nose. When off road it's real important to be able to see what is right close in front of you.

 

I agree. It has grown on me as well.

Though some bumper options help with that..a little

 

I like the looks of the front end, but hate the view from the drivers seat. Full-size winch fits in there.


I maybe biased. Started getting my rear bumper done, that is the real issue with angles. C4FAB, gas can rack is CBI, thanks @turbodb.

I think the front end design is a safety thing and mpg thing. It is 'crush' space. In taking a close look at Mark's '17, I noticed there are all sorts of little do-dads all over that are presumably aero aides to improve mpgs. Personally, I think they look kinda weird. And that big space in front of the radiator is prime real estate for mounting shit. Behind the grill light bars etc. I saw some one is selling a ARB twin compressor mount for somewhere in that front space. I'm sure there is more.

washed off the lil truck and found a PN for the "new spring" the guy I bought it from. Its a Dorman..

Well. It works. So I guess I'll just get another for the otherside.

 

Doublecab, picked up a used Diesel X5 for the Mrs. to drive so I can tear the DC apart. So not abandoned just got busy with life. Now I can start chipping away at it easier since it’s in place and I can figure out where to run things.

What's the 3.4 gonna go it? Or just keeping in case?

Does the r150 bolt up to that?

 

Hanging onto it for the time being just in case something unforeseen happens and I have to revert. R150 works. Here are the bellhousings. Same depth but the D4D is wider.
