    Where is the stock alternator letting you down? I have had good luck adding a overdrive pulley to an otherwise stock alternator (not Tacoma) to fix idle and near idle low output issues. SDHQ may offer those. I have bought those pulleys from Mechman alternators (similar custom built alternators and prices). Much cheaper solution, if that is what you need.

    The OEM alternator Was $633 a year ago when I had to replace mine.

    Now they’re like $550
