    Took a ride thru the woods to get some rocks yesterday. Wife built a small garden around the mailbox and put some flags out for the fourth. Not a very good picture, but you get the idea.

    I was going to post that you might want to wait till I saw your post that the seed is down. You will need to water every day till the start of fall. Being a little bit further south I have found that grass planted in the spring or summer usually fails due to the roots getting too hot. Planting in the fall is usually recommended in order to let the roots grow and mature in the winter.

    Nice looking new ride!! Holding off on mods is a nice plan. If you see what you want on sale or on the cheap then pick it up.

    To me hot is hot. Getting off work in Phoenix with the temp at 105 and the wind at 40mph will suck the moisture right out of you. I was in PHX two year ago and the coolest it got was 99 one night. It was usually up around 117 in the day. It was really hot.

    Best of luck keep it watered.

    I start on our back yard this August in an attempt to have a nice lawn next year.

    Cindy took the dog out. I filled up a ziplock bag with water and was planning on throwing it off the deck "near" her, she walked in right as I was heading out the door, bag in hand. I was crying, laughing so hard.
