And scary of course is so subjective!
Right after I moved from the SW to PNW I observed a woman become frantic in Walmart @ the sight of firearms in a locked case. Hustled her brood of 3 or 4 children out of the sporting goods section like their collective pants were ablaze!

Hey, looking cool is the most important thing.

(If you get it, you get it)

I just ordered a Universal 308 Mag pouch from Wilder Tactical. Supposed to fit G3 mags better than most others. I had picked up an ESSTAC KYWI 308 a little while back, but it doesn't want to play nice with the G3 mags. And, of course, the Condors work but getting the mag in is pretty much a 2 hand operation.

Also ordered a Safariland QLS receiver and a couple of QLS forks so I can swap out my light bearing and non light bearing holsters on my mid ride rig.

I was joking when I put it on that I need to put one of these on and take a picture to see how many would believe that it was a dual feed triple barrel rifle. Then I realized that I have a family member that would believe it.

I only have 1 10-22. :( Kinda thinkin' I need to build another. No clue where to start. Suggestions? Google gives me so much info it makes my head spin.
Edit: Mine is not 'built'. Just a barrel, stock, trigger add ons. Made a whole different shooter of it tho.

Niiiiiice, 17 was the smoothest 308 ive shot. feels better in the shoulder than my Aero M5 build, smoother than the KAC M110 i got to shoot, but arguably not as fun as the 240B lol

I was waiting to pick one up once i got out of state. Im assuming youre going to pin the stock and put a wrap on it?

That will probably be my next purchase if the 300 shoots as good as I’m hoping it will.

I couldn’t have said it better. This build I’m doing now will be the only one of mine that “looks” like a Ruger 10-22 and have 100% Ruger parts. Now these said parts will have been massaged, home brew trigger job/polish, factory bolt radiused and head spaced to proper spec, firing pin captured and profiled, all done by me. The factory barrel has been sent off and set back and rechambered. Should be a decent shooter but it really doesn’t matter, I’m not even planning a scope at this point.

Now you have scared me off ;).
The money part doesn't bother me, but I don't know how much money? SWMBO might have a say in it tho.
Really, the 10-22 I have should make me happy. Shoots well enough for a Butler Creek barrel and stock and a few trigger parts. The varmints I shoot don't seem to care which gun I use. :)
    Thanks for the replies fellas.
