Engine turns off only on push to start. HKEY guys have key take over, you can go into your vehicle with HKEY, put the key in, turn it two clicks to ON position, tap the brake once and now your key is in charge, as if the key started it. This isn't new. Here is the video:

Sorry about that bud, I should've went back on the post! Thank you and any crew you have working with you for your hard work and dedication, its rare (in my experience) to find a vendor without some major backing have such great customer service and activity on a forum.

 

This rules!! That answers my question from last page, my wife has the H or G key (forgot what it is on the Runner) and is usually in a hurry.. I don’t mind the door open/engine dies/push to re-start with my smart key Taco, but she’s way less patient Thanks for the updates, stoked to get these installed!

 

This is awesome, just ordered mine. Looking forward to getting it installed! Will definitely help out during the cold Boston winters.

The orders won’t stop...and neither will I. So for those of who keep mentioning how cold you are without your remote starter, the solution is simple, move to LA and I have a job waiting for you doing any of the following: assembly, packaging, programming, testing, phone support, email support, supply purchasing, accounting, local installation. This invitation also extends to N2’s smart/connected home side of our business. If that solution is not feasible, go inside, turn the heater on, and layer up with some chicken noodle soup. We’re almost there!

So it goes unsaid, NOT having any crazy sales for a LONG LONG time, (somehow that hasn’t stopped many of you anyhow!) should I raise my prices lol? As of now, no. The prices we have up on our website currently are it, for now and already significantly low compared to the market/industry average and competition for the same hardware. If anything changes, I’ll post here, but I don’t anticipate it.

Welcome to TW! Price on the website is it for now. Delivery of most remote starts purchased without a smart module trickle out this week. With a smart module, the week after that. Check your PM.

 

REPOST: SHIPPING AND LEAD TIMES

Push to Start, HKEY Auto and HKEY Manual will ship out early this week, you will get a tracking number emailed. Some will see tracking numbers as early as tomorrow, but shipping services doesn’t pick them up until Monday.

Any recent Push to Start orders from the past week, may not see a tracking number for another week, a small portion of harnesses are back ordered and I’m scrambling to get them in, even if I’m paying $$$$ to expedite them, I still need to clean them up, and test your modules, but to be fair, the Black Friday customers will have waited the same amount of time, so it’s only fair.

Anynone with smart module or RF kit, we’ve gotten about half the smart modules in to fulfill ordered, we will ship them out in order of order received the third week of December. My goal is to get you guys something in your hands before Christmas regardless of what you ordered. Free 1-3 day shipping isn’t cheap and because our margins are so low, I’d kindly ask for patience to be able to send out the two devices together. If you want the device faster, you can contact me and we can go over your options. I am open to anything, but it gets messy to sort through it twice when I already have your packages racked, ready to throw in whatever is missing and not have to deal with two shipments. You guys got a great deal, so I want to make sure I can keep the lights on for Christmas and maybe a dinner for my family haha! However, I will refuse to upset anyone, so if my family has to starve and get not Xmas gifts, that’s their problem because I’ll just tell my 2 year old and 3 month old that I didn’t seem them in the warehouse with daddy and his team hustling! With that said, get at me if you are inpatient and want to know what options you have. I really would like to do one shipment if possible, so if you can wait an extra week if you’re purchase wasn’t fulfilled in the order it was received with the first half inventory we got in, let me know. I am investing the extra two part shipment $$$ in expediting the back order...just to give you guys an idea, if I have a $1000 order coming in for example, typically freight could be free to about $50 flat rate depending on vendor, expediting costs for that same product would cost $350. On that $100, let’s say profit is $650 (I spend $1000 my cost to make $650 in my pocket) Id rather eat the loss on the profit I would’ve made than both expedite plus two part shipments, that means my profit is only $300 because our pricing is so low to hook you guys up. Now If I expedited that product (about 10 people worth of devices) AND each of the 10 people got a two part shipment, and $13 is the average I spend for 1-3 day free for you, I would have spent $13 x 2 (remote starter and smart module separate shipments) or $26. I will always ship free. So $26 x 10 people is $260. Between expediting and two part shipments, I’m left with $40 for all our hard work in getting you guys killer deals. ‘Tis the season? Lol. If I have to swallow that pill, so be it, it’s not anyone’s fault but the manufacturers for the back order, and tariffs our country has now imposed on the world. I just wanted to make sure I lock you all in to the pre-sale prices and pre-tariff increases. The website has reflected the new pricing which is still low by competitive means to our next biggest competitor, but also rewards anyone who’s locked in pre-tariff and post Black Friday prices to disgustingly sick low. Tap out and you're on your own!

That’s why I try to post whatever I’m going to “edit update” on the first post of this thread too, so that you may get a notification/ red pop up at the top right next to “alerts”.

Due to the high volume of orders from forum sales, we do extend lead times out. The reasons are:

- Any unforeseen supply line disruptions, which cannot be prevented at times by me.

- We clean up all your harnesses, kit stuff, program AND MOST OF ALL...

-...we test ALL your stuff individually on an actual Tacoma. We have one of each, and so you can imagine with hundreds of orders from a forum, its only a 15 minute job, but harness prep plus programming plus testing then packaging each one is about 30 minutes each, and 45 minutes for the manuals. You can guesstimate how long it would take. Outside of forum sales, day to day sales would ship out within 1 day, sometimes same day, and received in 1-3 days anywhere in the entire USA. Now, lets throw a back order that's coming in just before the weekend for the other half of the harnesses, we've got one busy weekend to meet our original promise of all units without a smart module STARTING to ship the second week of December. That does not mean come Monday you get a tracking number. You get a tracking number THE WEEK OF DECEMBER 10. Some early the following week, processing based on order received for fairness.

- People with SMART modules, half of them are in, those are the 2nd wave going out, 3rd week of December. Pipeline issues and limited allocation in the US. I've scrambled about half of what's needed to fulfill, but I want to be fair and fulfill everyone's at the same time.

- I won't hold anyone's funds hostage, so at any point you want a refund, I am more than happy, but tap outs will not get this pricing for another year, and NEVER again on the smart unit. So the stipulation of a bangin' deal is a little longer lead time.

I’m just kidding....I’m on these streets of LA at 3:30AM trying to find a harness dealer to score some major supply from to satisfy our remote start addiction...I think I might need to call the cartels in Mexico and put a request for quote and send them a Purchase Order. If the money is right, I “heard” they’ll get anything you want. Just not sure if they’ll take me seriously on what I need. We will gett’er done, I always find a way, and I always do! (Short of selling my a$$ on these rough streets).

On a serious note, I’ve ordered so much that this will or happen again. I’m sending purchase orders in the 4-5 digit range.

These things happen. The last run the
vendor sent me Verizon CDMA smart modules and I sent it back. The vendor thought they could pull a fast one on me.
I was literally ready to ship the next day and packages were sealed up when I found out. Needless to say I sent them all back and didn’t wait for my $5k credit to post, just went ahead and bought the 3G modules (4G wasn’t out yet) from a different source. That set us back a week and I called each individual to explain this to and not one of them was unappreciative of this due diligence. Everyone was understanding.

Now this time, the 4G barely came out and so they are divvying up small portions to every retailer like myself instead of fulfilling one large order. Same as the PTS harnesses, everywhere is shorted due to back order, so again, as it comes in they are divvying it up. I have another source I’m going to ping another reliable source Monday to back me up. Now time to sleep for a few hours before going back at it!

 

I can maybe get you toy6 harnesses, will check on Monday. But want to make sure I have enough for my millions, and millions of customers.

 

IMO it would be more fair to fulfill them as you can in order the orders were received. And no, I'm not saying that just because I stayed up until midnight that Wednesday night to place my order!
