    Nothing yet!
If anyone has ideas it would be incredible.

I have a 2017 Tacoma TRD. Everything is working perfect, however my brights won’t work. The lows work perfect and when I pull the stick back the brights light up. Light on dash also is not blue when I try to turn them on, but when I pull stick back dash light is on and brights work normally.

Also when the engine is off and I jus freshly turn the truck off, brights will stay forward position with blue light on dash working. After starting it’s almost as if something is blocking the brights from working.

    What I’ve done:

New fuse box - no fix
New ecu (fixed another issue, but not this issue)
New BCM other black circuit located behind the fuse box.
Checked he switch with scan tool and shows all functions working, so the controls are fine.

I’ve tested the relay also and it’s fine in gathering front fuse box / relay box. I can trip the brings and relay works great. Jus don’t understand it... also combination meter is fine as we I checked this with the scan tool through the available functions.

Also the weirdest thing just happened. It was fairly cold and went to a friends house, after getting back into the car, I get in and my brights are magically working!

Then I go to air my tires back up after a day in the snow and the vehicle was on. Got all wormed up and was excited to enjoy my brights magically working again, but sadly they wodn’t Work and same symptoms again.

I ave been racking my brains and going over wiring diagrams... has anyone ever experience anything like this with an answer? From any other year of Tacoma?

FYI - truck had small unrelated accident and was repaired but no warranty now...

Literally everything is new nd unmodifed. Just the wackiest thing ever!!!

check the headlight ground circuit. unplug the bulb. check for 12 volts at the connector. if that is present with the h/b on you are missing the ground. possibly if the core support was painted or replaced there is paint under the ground terminal. if you don't have 12 volts the problem is upstream

The only advice I can suggest is check wiring. I had a sienna with the exact symptoms as yours in my shop, ended up being bad connector contacts underneath the dash. Mutli pin connectors, tiny little things... Pulled the connector, "massaged" the pins, worked like a charm. I was able to find the issue tugging and pushing on harnesses & connectors. Good luck.

The momentary contact pass to flash bright always works?
The continuous contact bright lights have randomly worked?
I know you tested the switch but that behavior seems to me to be a bad switch.

    Are headlights stock?

You have aftermarket bulbs? Some have been known to fail ECU I think.

No warranty from what? The repair? Or Toyota?

Why no Toyota warranty? Too many miles?

Do you have auto high beams? If switch is depressed. Lower left switch panel. High beams won’t kick on if too much ambient light
