I got a Corvette style one. It will be used in conjunction with a new MAF tube setup and 45* bend that will make a totally modified URD style "ram air" intake. So hopefully not only more power, but better breathability, and most importantly no more glitchy P0103 codes.

I have reason to believe that some of that knock has to do with intake/MAF issues. Almost like after a certain size pulley the tube size is pulling in too much air and the amount of airflow being pulled through the intake is making the MAF glitch which is causing ever so minute unwanted knocks and pings.

More to come on that shortly in this coming week. We'll see how my findings fare out.

    My shit is all stock.
Spent some time yesterday trying to maximize boost numbers.

Clamped vacuum line to the bypass valve diaphragm.
    Double checked setscrew adjustment.
Cleaned air filter (which, admittedly, was pretty filthy).
Removed the bullshit carbon screen in the lid of the air filter housing.
Wiped out the inside of the intake tube. Was covered in a thin film of super fine dust and oil.
Cleaned the throttle body since I was there.

Initial test drive around the block looked promising. Saw 8.5-ish psi on the gauge. A longer drive up the freeway revealed I’m pretty much no further ahead that I was. 7.5-8 psi during long 4th, 5th, and 6th gear pulls.

At this point, I can only conclude that the belt is slipping. Which seems odd to me. Belt doesn’t appear glazed. No black dust anywhere. No squealing.

Hang on. You are running the stock OE intake still?

We are with smaller pulleys getting slip. Even if it's a little. I tried to adjust my jfr pulley tighter for the first time since my 2.5 install. I screwed up and couldn't get it tight. A wot pull on the freeway and I swear I could SMELL belt slip. Its tight now. Whew.

So after @loginfailed’s testing of max airflow g/s last night just for shits n gigs I let the truck rip in 4th gear the highest I saw was 280 g/s.

These are rookie numbers, I need to pump them up :(

Ahh I see. Yeah I agree. It's been a party in here since the beginning. Always something going on. Okay, next steps to follow for you:

    - Check bypass valve adjustment and adjust if needed
    - Replace serpentine belt with a 69.56" Fleetrunner belt
    - Run Roostfactors belt wrap mod
    - This one is subjective to your own judgement, pull your restrictor jet

Watch your boost numbers dramatically improve shortly after that.

Your Dyno post of 343HP at the wheels should net you at least 341 g/s. According to @loginfailed test, you could be missing 25g/s with that Donaldson. Wonder where the other 36 went? are you data logging or just watch a scan gauge?

Also because the ratios are so close, a grams per second reading should be roughly equal to the actual wheel horse power....

So in this discussion of belts, I went forward and ordered the Fleetrunner belt for the S/C drive for a 2.8 pulley. Any tips/tricks for getting a clean cut to remove the extra ribs? Razor knife vs metal shears vs hot knife....?

Looking at the main drive belt, Gates provides a direct replacement that cross-references as
    Gates K070834 Multi V-Groove Belt.

There is a fleetrunner belt K070834HD
    (https://www.gates.com/us/en/power-t...fleetrunner-micro-v-belts/p/p100278/v/9643353).

Anyone know if this is also a compatible belt? I am assuming it is and the HD designation is reserved for the fleetrunner series belts, all else is the same.

When I did the check on Amazon, it kicks up an ACDelco version. Is Gates providing belts to ACD and rebranding?

Stick to the belt I listed on page 1 for the proper length and numbered ribs if you want to run a Fleetrunner for your engine serpentine drive.

This belt is NOT for your supercharger serpentine setup.

Razor in a vice is the best bet, but it is very meticulous.

I cut my belt using a razor knife and a kitchen cutting board. Cut on the v-side, go steady, and change blades often and you will be just fine.

Guys, am I missing something? The k&n fuel filter listed here is $9. Why the hell is urd's filter $32?? I can only assume k&n is superior. Curious.
