I keep getting notices for land opportunities in AZ. Great prices but don't know how accessible they are or if they're off grid.

I didn't venture over to Asheville. Jim Cantore was there and I didn't want to die.

That was the issue with my wife and I. She is not nearly as fond of the cold and snow (temperature wise) as I am.
She finally decided she can handle it for a few months a year. It’s like here in Los Angeles in the summer, you adjust accordingly. Besides she loves the look of the snow on the mountains, the view of the lake, and the various animal sightings. Like you guys have said, she made it quite clear she wanted to be within 10-15 minutes of a hospital. We have somehow managed to find that. We are kind of around the mountain away from town but still within a 10-15 minute drive. I tried to show her a place that was about 40 minutes away from the hospital, she said “no way”!

Ok....Did my good deed for the day. Now I can go back to being an asshole.

On my way home I run up on a 2nd gen Taco with a crew of guys UNDER it. Removing driveshaft. The rearmost u-joint had decided it didnt want to play any longer. Not sure how they all got in the truck, but 7 Mexicans were trying to replace the u-joint with a claw hammer, 2 pairs of vice grips, a screwdriver and a brick. :anonymous: At least they had a new u-joint.

Only one spoke english....but he spoke it better than I do....

The token old guy had his tool box in the truck.

Got em back on the road in minutes.

Early 2nd gen with drop bracket lift and 35s. Nice looking truck if you like db lifts, bull bars and a lot of chrome.

New bag packed at or near capacity , first time I put clothes in it and took a couple times until I figured it out !!!

Going to be so much easier to carry than the old wheeled luggage I used before , Especially when I'm using my cane !!!!

So what’s everyone think about Townsend Tennessee. Wife and I really liked that place when we visited S.M.N.P. Look like a nice small town, not to touristie.
