Thanks for inspiring newcomers to see what they could throw in a recovery kit! @Nopro had his rope ready all day, and I needed one of those shackles I just bought Friday! Thanks Master!

I had a dadgummed riot as your co-pilot! You did a fantastic job, and the mud I left in your truck is worse than what I got on me. LBR has had a trip to the hand wash, the auto wash (for more undercarriage), and will still need a detail wash before showing her face at C&C! Not sure that she if happy with me! Still questioning Mike Penberg about the route in. Google satellite tells me it was FM TRO. He says Valley Road! I'm still polishing up some photos, and I will get back to the satellite.

You got a great truck, and I hope she cleaned up healthy!

Yours is smaller, and you have a LOT more practice! Now, I am pretty sure where the dried mud marks on LBR were from when I bought her! It was probably less muddy, but somewhere out there, in her past, is the reason why the front mudflaps were razor cut (poorly).

*I was a nice guy, and washed all the mud into the drain, unlike some Jeep people and gravel trucks.*

Good on ya for getting that mud into the drain. My technique for removing the mud is go to a self serve car wash in some daisy dukes (swimsuit or ragged shorts), show off my beer belly with some shooting glasses and just lay under the truck and go to town. In this nippy ass weather though... ehhh...
