When it rains, my PRo says tucked away in the garage.

Of course with average less than 8 days of rain a year, not a big issue

Tommorow I’m having clear bra film applied to headlights and under handles. I’ve noticed with previous vehicles covering the plastic headlights prevents the pitting and yellow discoloration.

Been also searching for sliders as well as bed crossbars vs bed rack.
Any recommendations? I do have a RTT. I want versatility with easy on easy off. That’s why I’ve been leaning to doing bed crossbars.

Headlights are covered, local guy did an amazing job!
This also came in. Need to pick a day to install it and the breather relocator. 14A73C95-EE1A-498B-B517-F304990297EC.jpgA1B01715-34A1-4DDB-BDF6-64CD6E09031C.jpg F7FE93D6-D3F3-40A8-A69E-77490514138C.jpg

So, made some time today to spray cavity wax by 3M into frames rales and any other metal surface from underneath the vehicle. Man this stuff smells volatile. No one spark a match in my garage. LOL

This pic is from internet, but it is exactly what I used. I also picked up the wand kit, that comes with 3 different lengths in order to get into hard to get areas.
Figured some extra rust prevention is in order, especially because I plan to have this Tacoma for awhile.

I also went ahead and install the TRD intake system. Perfect fit and finish. Built like it was meant to be. Super easy and straight forward install.

Now, need to take a test ride but I want the cavity wax to settle overnight and solidify a bit before going for a drive.

Nice upgrades on the tires, LEDs', and that slick TRD intake system. Where'd you get it? Is it OEM? Very nice! And way to go on your preventive measures bro..

I just got mine Voodoo Pro 3 weeks ago and have been nonstop on the upgrades. It's like Xmas every day! Haha!

Not really.I replaced the SnorkeI OEM bracket and made the Prinsu's side rail as the bracket. Just a lot of time aligning the holes once the holes are made and the spacers in between. It's a tight fit and the snorkel doesn't have much play to align the holes.. That's all..

    Damn you have been busy!!
    The intake is indeed OEM.
I like how you attached the DAI onto the prinsu rack. Well done

Been trying to sort which sliders to purchase.

Just off-roaded a little today. Basically some deep flooded fire roads. Got some air. Fox suspension is pretty smooth.

Looking forward to the future with this truck.

That is one awesome build bro. Im glad your keeping up us Voodoo pro owners posted. If you don't mind I'll post some of my upgrades to get other Voodoo owners an idea as well.. Lots of projects to keep us busy for the next 10 years! Lol
Like I said in another post, If I didn't get my Pro I would have truck envy. Lol

Sure it cost a lil more than the other Tacos... But it's like going to Taco Bell.. would you order a regular Taco or get a Taco supreme for 50 cents more. But in our case it's $5k-8k more!! Haha!

HEY, YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE!! Keep that dream alive bro!!

Looks neat! Love the look of the rack with the snorkel! Is there a way to keep the original bracket? Could you fit both the rack and the bracket into the same mounting hole? Or do you need those spacers to make room for the snorkel because it would rob otherwise?

    Hey Capt. Voodoo,
It's possible to keep the bracket since the Prinsu requires spacers to load the rack on each fixed mounting points. If I had a machine that bend or replicate the Desert Air Intake OEM bracket then yes. Then you would need to add a washer or 2 on each mounting holes to level the rack. I'm still working on a bracket and hopefully share to Voodoo pro owners with the DAI attachment. Not unless Prinsu is reading this right now and possibly making one as we speak.

I also spoke to Mike in Prinsu and told me to email some pics and ideas.

And yes I would need those spacers to prevent rubbing on the side rail and as a bracket..

    Voodoo blu,

By chance how much did you purchase the Air intake as a whole unit or by parts only and where?.. or just the head unit and the hose only? And if it was a whole unit, any difference in HP as Toyota claim in their info?
