Anybody have a snow plow on their 1st gen? I'm in the process of putting one on mine. Will post pictures after I get the truck side mount. Hopefully one for 95 to 01 will work on my 2004.

That little 98 I posted a picture of is they dealerships plow truck. Thing does pretty good. Auto transcooler would probably help. But it’s been fine for 20 years now.

Too bad plowing took a toll on its frame

(I would never plow with a taco... I’d just go buy a junky old ford or Chevy to plow with. Taco can do it. But at what cost?)

This was my last plow truck I plowed with it for 10 years. I was still hauling loads like that when I sold it to a guy I work with. I'll have to get him to send me some pics of it with the plow on. Lost my pics when the sd card died in my phone.

Is that a 6 1/2' unimount? That's what I'm putting on mine. Doesn't look like it's squatting the front too much. My mount should be here Monday.

No clue. Whatever the mount was is rotted pretty bad. The squats not horrible. But it’s also a 4 cylinder.

I installed an older Western unimount 6.6 SU plow on my 02 dbl cab. I had to cut apart and re-weld the frame bracket and modify the wiring harness.

I did change out the springs all the way around, so the front end doesn’t dip but a little. But they were in need of replacement.

Works great other than the back dragging isn’t the greatest. But the cutting edge isn’t new.

Well I got my plow mount only to find it has rust holes in it. They were not there in the pictures they sent me of it. The rust scale got knocked off in shipping to reveal the holes. 20181203_181135.jpgOne of the rust chunks that fell off.20181203_173532.jpg20181203_173457.jpg The holes.
They are supposed to be sending me a return shipping label and refunding my money. It's been a few days and I haven't gotten it yet, so I sent them a reminder. If they don't follow through I will put a warning on here to not do business with them. Enough about that.

Tuesday after I got the mount a buddy of mine sends me this.Screenshot_2018-12-04-16-35-24.jpgSo I was lucky snag this before anyone else got it. Plow mount is in excellent condition and now I have the correct wiring it also had a brand new battery in it.

I now have 2 plows and a parts truck. I will be selling one of the plows as a complete s10 Plow.

Pics of my truck with the plow I'm keeping on it.20181205_205037.jpg20181205_204924.jpg Unfortunately no snow to play in. We did get 12 inches of wet snow while I was waiting on the mount. That was 4 hours of fun with a scoop shovel.

Found this truck on classified ads. It's not a snowplow, but a snowblower... Interesting setup, I didn't know they made snowblowers for trucks too

I’m running a Boss sport duty 7.5 on my second gen Tacoma. I think 7 foot should be about the widest you should go on a Tacoma but at times the extra half foot is nice.

well, it doesn't say much other than it had preventative maintenace done, all fluids were replaced, brakes and suspension work was done, new U-joints, ball joints, steering rack, axle seals, and that the truck itself is clean. It does say that it is a 28 HP Kimpex Berco snowplow with controls inside the cab.

Kimpex and Berco(Bercomac) are manufacturers of ATV and small tractor equipment, respectively, so it is likely an ATV snowplow or a lawn/small tractor snowblower

Sadly no video, but you can google up the snowplow manufacturer: Kimpex Berco
