Thanks man. Not bad for 1000$ even tho I’ve already spent 3 times that fixing it up. Guy before me drove it and did no Maintenance. Just wanna see it hit 400,000 miles and I’ll be satisfied

No idea. Don’t think it’s original you can see around some of the window trim where it was tapped up so I’m sure it’s been painted. Under the hood is a lighter blue to. So not sure man

Yeah from the pics I’ve seen online I think that’s what it is. Doesn’t have any dents. Tailgate was beat when I got it so I got a junkyard tailgate and just rattle canned it black

Yeah she runs good. Been daily driving it for a year no issues other than regular maintenance. Blue isn’t my color but it works

That looks awesome! Im dreaming about 33s and have a few questions. For the front do you run anything other than the eBay lift spacer and black box mod to fit them? Is it possible to run them for a few months on stock gears? And finally what wheels are those? Sorry if a lot at once, but I really would like to run them if possible.

To me the biggest key is the wheels. 4in bs and around -13mm offset. You will still have to trim some of the plastic and roll over the pinch weld in the back of the front fender. I've ran stock gears for a bit. It'll definitely feel different but you'll be ok.

I’m thinking about procomp 7069 16x8 wheels, They have 4 in bs -12 offset. What wheels do you run?

I run the cragar soft 8s which have -11 offset. Nice find those should be fine.

I just got a 99 2wd and I would love to throw on some factory 5 lug wheels. Some RAV4 Wheels look like they would be a nice fit. Just want something simple and clean. Any other Toyota 5lug options for us?

Center bore on the 1st gen Tacoma is 67.1. Center bore on most other Toyota 5 lug wheels are 60.1. From what I've found, the offsets for most of them should work fine but you'd have to bore out the center in order to get them to fit.

I was bored one day and poor man photo shopped (I'm probably the only person that still uses Microsoft Paint!) many of the RAV4, Highlander and Sienna wheels onto my truck to see what it would look like. Almost all of them do look pretty nice but I didn't feel like messing with the center bore so I went a different route and used 16" Hyundai Sonata wheels because they have a 67.1 center bore and they bolted right up.

EDIT: some of them are not quite to scale so they look more like 20" instead of 16" or 17" that they actually are.

Mazdaspeed 3, mazda rx8, Mitsubishi evo x have large enough hub bores.
