    Had the issue of having to go back to the hospital for a few days. Other then that it's all good. I'm more confident and comfortable about my decision now then I was before the amputation.

    Same with me mum, soon as I get back from Austin to New Orleans I already had to take her right back to the hospital, her temps were above normal and the dialysis nurse was afraid she had sepsis again. She was in the hospital the week before.

    I was in the hospital with a knee infection in few years ago. Surgery was scheduled for 6am the fallowing morning. The infection broke out of my knee about 5pm the night before surgery. It spread thru my body in about 30min's. I was in surgery by 9pm that night. If I hadn't been in the hospital when it happened things would have turned out a lot different.

    The same infection that caused the sepsis i've been fighting to get rid of for 6 years to no avail. So Nov 20th I had my right leg amputated above the knee to get rid of the infection that started to come back in September. IV antibiotics wasn't getting it under control at all.
