I knew it was a losing battle to save a leg that would never be right and cause me problems until it killed me.

Docs at Mayo Clinic are pretty confident this will be the end of it.

My insurance company hates me. LOL But they're good to me and pay off like a ATM.

It will soon be time for a $100k+ prosthetic leg. "Magic Legs" only 1 though.

I don’t know how, but my roommate managed to catch the stove on fire.

Yes, the stove itself. He was cooking Bacon so my first instinct was douse it with Flour, but then I realized the burner Metal lining itself was on fire and the skillet was already in the sink.

I wish one of us got it on video. Two of us was waving our towels frantically, one of us was waving the trash can lid, and the other one was waving his jacket away from the smoke alarm. He’s set the fire alarm off in the past for cooking Bacon I’m amazed he didn’t this time.

Heater element crack? If that happens it will arc and burn up like that. I hate electric ovens/stoves for this reason. Had the one in the oven do that when me and my sis were home alone once years ago. Scary stuff.

Yeah. We called her, she wanted us to call the fire dept. I flipped the breaker to the stove and it went out instead. I still hate using the damn thing to this day.

Cook bacon in the oven. Once you go this route, you will never cook bacon in a fry pan again.

I like fried, I like deep fried. I just want my bacon done the way I like it with the least amount of hassle.
