Holiday Wheeling/Camping Weekend at Hidden Falls, Dec 6th-9th

Yep, Lux is our chunky lab! She's a sweetheart... especially if you've got food with you

 

Yes, she did like my shrunk Subway sammich! I told her it had hot banana peppers, and she did not care. I only got to speak with you about that long, so next time, I hope! This is a great group!

 

Amen to that. Bunch of good folks in here. I'll have to get out there sooner next time and hopefully the trails will be dry.

 

What a great group!!! Wow, I can't say enough. So fortunate to have such great friends to share the weekend with.

But, wait, There's More! "Campsite AM & LBR Travel To and From!"
It started so innocently! Tacos at J&J and caravan out.

We get to HF, and I am third in line. "He will have no problems"


K, this isn't bad, slow and smooth drive. Rough bumps, but just bumps.

OK, this road is not the same anymore and I am putting down the phone. I have no proof of what I went through past this point!

OK, here we are at camp. Some mud, not bad, and I know I got tricked!

LBR Adventure.... shoot, I learned a lot.....

OK, she stayed parked all day. I rode around. I learned that just getting to camp was far more that LBR should be expected to do!
Left camp, tried to do a "smart bypass" over a little crevasse that I had decided was too steep for LBR going down. Right or wrong choice, she just slid down the hill and here I am.

 

Those fancy mud flaps saved you alot of time washing your taco mine were cut off when I got mine and if you look for them on eBay it's like 200 bucks for whole set

It's alright I'm not going to put them on they will probably interfere with the tires I'm going to put on

I want to thank everyone who planned this trip. I had a great time with some awesome people. Wish I could have stayed longer. I am terrible with names so who all was riding with us Friday night? Send me a message with your name so I can make sure We roll out again next time. That was a tight motivated group. We hit some radical shit for what I can remember. Other than @CedarPark wench cable issue we made some quick time out of the many recoveries we had that night. See y’all at austin c&c december 16th.
