Thanks, I'll be sure to post pics, wife is a photog so we should be able to get some good stuff! So much awesome stuff out west I have never seen, I've made a few trips to CO to visit a buddy in the last few years and it's really ignited my interest in traveling the U.S. instead of looking at other countries/beaches. We have such a big country and the landscape is so diverse, I got about a dozen other places I want to see here before I leave again.
Leaving Feb. 3rd and coming back the 8th. 4 1/2 full days there as we fly out early on the 8th. I can only vacation 3-4 days before I want to get home usually, but plan on getting outside and exploring from sunrise to sunset while we are there.

You've probably gone over this 100 times, but do you work in a plant/factory or something. Not sure how many other jobs have a night shift anymore, well I guess gas stations too, but it seems like you don't work at one of those.

    Morning all. Happy Monday...
Installed a new exterior door in the cellar yesterday; that was a good time, with it being so cold out and the rough opening (of course) needing wood replaced due to rot AND not being square. Nothing's ever as easy as it should be

Serpentine belt shredded and fell off. had to drive home the other day without power steering, that was fun.

That also drives your water pump. You're lucky you didn't overheat it! How far did you drive?

I've worked 15 months worth of hours in a 12 month year. Every Friday Im up for 30-36 hrs straight. 2 days later I go to work with only having 12 hours of sleep from Thursday to Monday morning. I've done this for over 124ish weeks in a row.

Haha trust me, I know. Cant not live life though

I had that happen four hours from home once. Wasn't fun pulling scraps of belt out of the pulleys on the side of the road. My temperature climbed almost immediately, so I couldn't keep driving.

That blows! Now I've got to decide to have the work done or lay on my cold dirt driveway and try to do it myself...hmmmm

You should be able to swap a new belt in while standing.

I did everything from above. I got a belt from a nearby Advance and changed it in a nice old lady's driveway. It was a pain because the engine was super hot and I had to pick out the scraps, but I got it done.
