The SSO Slimline bumpers are on backorder at the moment, not sure the order time on the C4. Might want to check that out to help with your decision

    Stock for now
Don’t mind waiting. If it’s good, it’s worth the wait.

We, dissent offroad will have our aluminum and steel available for sale this week! The steel version weighs 105lbs and aluminum is 43lbs. Both will have the light cutout options and several options for the factory fog light location. Starting price is $1075 for steel and $1575 for aluminum. IMG_1890.jpgIMG_1869.jpgIMG_1877.jpg

Not a huge deal but you have the price incorrect on ours. Our front plate bumper for the third gen Tacoma starts at $1099.

I eventually want to start listing the options but don't want to go back multiple times to do it so i am going to list what i think i would put and see if someone else has input.

    Example:

    Options:
Steel: Yes/No Lbs: (lightest options with no hoops)
Aluminum: Yes/No Lbs: (lightest options with no hoops)
    Powdercoated: Yes/No
Hoops: No Hoop / Mid Hoop / Full Hoop
    Center Lightbar: Non / 20" / 30"
    Winch: Yes/No
    Other: ?

I assume those are the basics, Let me know if there should be something else.

I appreciate the recognition. That being said, most of our product line is still in prototyping. We're launching for the start of 2019 though, and a revamp of our website to make it functional is in the works. We're on the second prototype for our Phantom One Series Front Bumper though. Our Stealth One Series is ready to go:

I like that. Three questions: what light pods would fit in the circular holes cut out? Will this be available in aluminum? And what are the 5 little holes for?

Are any of these deer killers?

Just moved to an area with an abundance of deer and my Taco seems to be lacking protection.

The light pods are designed for JK style 4” round fogs. Almost every lighting brand makes a version that fits. You can spend anywhere from $50-500 on fogs that will bolt in. We find a lot of customers start out with a cheap set, and upgrade later.

This won’t be available in aluminum for the foreseeable future. We’re focusing on developing a high strength/high impact bumper, and will be focusing on those that are concerned with fuel economy later on.

The five little holes are optional marker lights. They are available in white or amber. A lot of our customers lately have been getting them in amber, and then using them as running lights/turn signals:

plus I don't want to cut away my front fenders, would like a small slimline also or something similar.

I get the point of cutting the fender to gain the extra clearance and a better aporoach angle, but my logic is that if I wanted the increase in clearance I'd rather lift the truck than start chopping away at the body

I have 6 inch lift with 35s and i still rub turning into dipped driveways. Getting a bumper for the clearance. (I have cmc done)
Everyone else with 3 inch lift will tell you 6 inch lift isn't practical and there is no turning back if you go 4+ inches. And that 3 inch has all the articulation you need and etc..
With the slim line bumper, you are still cutting the front bumper to make a hole for the slim line bumpers vs cutting the fenders to make space for a front bumper replacement. (cutting no matter what)

This is true, I guess you can't avoid cutting the bumper in some way/how ... At the end it just comes down to personal preference and how you will be using your truck.

I just saved the piece of cross member that I cut out for the 6" lift. If I ever want to go mid or long travel I can just weld it back in  As far as cutting the front bumper, I personally think having a slim front bumper that follows the body lines is worth it.
